Our Story
We’re Anna and Ceejay, and we’ve been working together for 8 years now. Our friendship grew almost instantly, and for the past 5 years, we’ve been coaching many classes together at Island Gymnastics. It’s been such a rewarding journey!
One day, Anna came to Ceejay with an exciting idea – she wanted to find a bigger home for Island Gymnastics, a place where we could grow and reach even more families. She asked Ceejay if she wanted to come along for the ride, and that’s when everything started to fall into place.
Ceejay had always loved the idea of teaching baby classes and supporting parents as they help their little ones develop, grow, and bond. So, when we discovered Baby College, it felt like the perfect fit.
Now, our dreams are coming true! The two businesses – Island Gymnastics and Baby College – are growing side by side, allowing us to offer families the chance to bond, learn, and bloom together. We’re so excited to share this new chapter with you and can’t wait to see where it takes us!
Our Classes
Infants 0-9 months
Our Infant classes offer an insight into baby development to increase your confidence and understanding of your growing baby. All our fun activities are suitable from birth with the exercises progressing as your baby grows.
Toddlers 9-18 months
For your older more active baby who is now fascinated with the world around them we introduce additional learning themes and practice new skills. Activities promote language and social skills and body awareness.
Juniors 18 months – 3 years+
Our special fun Junior programme is perfect for older toddlers who are even more active. We love encouraging their confidence in their physical and social skills and in supporting increased independence with fun and stimulating games. They don’t even realise how much they are learning at the same time.

“I met Anna 8 years ago when we were both coaching gymnastics, and we’ve been working together ever since!
I’ve always loved working with children, and for the past 4 years I’ve been at Bright Beginnings Nursery in the preschool room, where I’ve really enjoyed building strong bonds with the little ones. I’ve also spent the last 5 years running preschool and Parent & Toddler gymnastics classes with Anna at Island Gymnastics.
Having a little one myself (not so little now at 9 years old!), I know how special it would’ve been to have a community like this when Oscar was younger – a space where we could learn, grow, and bond together through fun, guided classes. That’s exactly what I hope to help create here for other families. I can’t wait to watch all of our children and grown-ups grow and connect together!”

“I first started coaching gymnastics over 15 years ago, and it quickly became clear to me how much I loved helping children grow in confidence through movement and play. Since then, I’ve worked with little ones of all ages, especially preschoolers building their first real confidence in movement, as well as older children discovering the joy of gymnastics and beyond.
As a former gymnast, I’m passionate about creating a safe, fun, and welcoming space where children can explore movement and express themselves. In 2024, I was honoured to be nominated for Teacher of the Year, which was such a special recognition of the creativity and care I bring to my classes.
Over the years, I’ve seen how powerful it is when children are given a supportive space to explore, have fun, and try new things. It’s not just about movement – it’s about building confidence, sparking curiosity, and creating moments of achievement that they (and their parents!) can be proud of.
I’m so excited to bring this same passion into Baby College, and to work alongside families as their children learn, play, and grow.”
