Hi, I am Kate and along with Suzanne I run the award-winning Baby College programme parent and baby classes in Oxford (including Baby Massage classes too)
Baby College Oxford was voted “Best for Learning” in the Hoop Awards and we are proud to have been awarded 3 kites by ICAP – the highest rating possible.
Our Classes
Infants 0-9 months
Our Infant baby classes offer an insight into baby development to increase your confidence and understanding of your growing baby. All our fun activities are suitable from birth with the exercises progressing as your baby grows.
Toddlers 9-18 months
For your older more active baby who is now fascinated with the world around them we introduce additional learning themes and practice new skills. Activities promote language and social skills and body awareness.
Juniors 18 months – 3 years+
Our special fun Junior programme is perfect for older toddlers who are even more active. We love encouraging their confidence in their physical and social skills and in supporting increased independence with fun and stimulating games. They don’t even realise how much they are learning at the same time.
Baby Massage 0-6 months
We teach a full body baby massage sequence in 4 practical sessions including songs and movements to safely practise and enjoy with your baby at home. Classes include discussion topics to support you and your new baby, relaxation and stretches for parents and informative handouts. Oil and refreshments are provided at our warm, private venues.

About us
Hi, my name’s Kate. I run the award-winning Baby College parent and baby classes in Oxford and the surrounding areas.
My love of teaching young children started when I was finishing my degree and I set upon doing my EYPS Qualification. I am now a trained Primary School teacher and have always been interested in the development of young children and how best to support them. That skill set, mixed with my music degree has led me to this; my perfect job.
I have three children of my own, Oscar, Theo and Lily, and have loved watching them grow up and what makes them tick. I have enjoyed being at home with my children for the last seven years and am now excited to continue my journey with Baby College.
We look forward to seeing you at one of our award-winning Baby College baby classes in Oxford or maybe for one of the lovely 4 week Baby Massage courses first.

Hi I’m Suzanne, I am very excited to start teaching the Headington baby college classes in January 2025. My background is perhaps unusual, I hold a doctorate in clinical medicine and used to work as a researcher for University of Oxford. When I had my daughter I gave up work to become a full time mummy and now have two children, Amelia 7 and Zachary 3. I attended baby college classes with both of my children and absolutely loved it! Not only do the classes offer a fantastic mix of activities for 0-3year olds, in a fun and welcoming environment, they also provide a great insight into baby and child development. I made one of my closest friends at baby college, found several new games/ songs to sing to my children and will always treasure the memories of the classes. I hope that I can help you and your little one to have that special time together and that you to will make some amazing new friends in the classes. I can’t wait to meet you and your little one and to have some fun in class together!
