BABY COLLEGE® Booking Terms & Conditions
These conditions apply to all services provided by BABY COLLEGE®.
BABY COLLEGE® provides an enriching development programme for babies and young children whilst offering parents and caregivers helpful information about child development. Parents/carers are expected to remain in attendance throughout each BABY COLLEGE® class and actively support their child’s participation.
BABY COLLEGE® operates a system of reserved places. Once your child is enrolled and payment has been received, your place is reserved for the booked term or payment period.
BABY COLLEGE® requests six weeks’ notice if you wish to withdraw from a term booking. If less than six weeks’ notice is given, we reserve the right not to offer a refund. Where classes are booked through a monthly payment plan, 30 days’ notice is required.
BABY COLLEGE® reserves the right to cancel or refuse a place where necessary for operational, safeguarding, safety or behavioural reasons. In such circumstances, any appropriate refund or alternative arrangement will be considered.
Please advise your class teacher if your child will be absent from a class. Refunds are not normally offered for temporary absences such as holidays or illness.
Payment for classes is required in advance. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and we therefore encourage prompt payment to avoid disappointment.
Classes begin and end promptly. Parents/carers should aim to arrive a few minutes before the class start time to allow the session to begin smoothly for everyone attending.
Children benefit most when parents and caregivers remain engaged and focused during the class. If your child becomes very distressed or unsettled, we may ask you to step outside briefly until they are calm enough to rejoin the session.
All children attending classes must be accompanied by a parent or nominated carer. BABY COLLEGE® does not provide childcare services.
BABY COLLEGE® classes generally operate during school term times unless otherwise advised by your local franchisee. Every effort is made to ensure classes run as scheduled. If cancellation becomes necessary, parents/carers will be informed as soon as reasonably possible and an alternative arrangement may be offered where appropriate.
Class sizes are limited and BABY COLLEGE® reserves the right to offer an alternative class or waiting list where necessary.
Fees include tuition and use of BABY COLLEGE® equipment and class materials where applicable.
In the event of any complaint, BABY COLLEGE® aims to resolve concerns directly with the parent/carer wherever possible. BABY COLLEGE®’s maximum liability shall not exceed the amount of fees paid, except in cases involving death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Children should not attend classes if they are unwell with any illness that may be contagious or place others at risk. Parents/carers should notify their class teacher if a child develops a significant illness shortly after attending a class.
Photography, filming and digital media use during classes must comply with the Baby College Photography, Video & Digital Media Policy. Parents/carers should avoid intentionally photographing or filming other children and must follow any instructions given by the Class Leader.
BABY COLLEGE® may occasionally take photographs or videos for promotional purposes where appropriate consent has been obtained.
BABY COLLEGE® classes are intended for one accompanying adult and one participating child unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Personal information is processed in accordance with the Baby College Privacy Policy and associated data protection policies.
Your teacher has been trained by BABY COLLEGE® to provide structured, informative and enjoyable classes in a warm and supportive environment. If you have questions about your child’s development, please speak to your class teacher.
Monthly payment plans are offered without a fixed minimum term unless otherwise stated at the point of booking. The notice period for cancellation is 30 days. Monthly payments are payable in advance.
BABY COLLEGE® reserves the right to make reasonable changes to classes, venues, teachers or schedules where necessary.
Attendance at BABY COLLEGE® classes implies acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
These Terms & Conditions form the entire agreement relating to the booking of BABY COLLEGE® classes and supersede any previous versions relating to the same booking.
In these Terms & Conditions, BABY COLLEGE® shall mean the BABY COLLEGE® franchisee operating the class attended.
