Our Classes
Infants 0-9 months
Our Infant classes offer an insight into baby development to increase your confidence and understanding of your growing baby. All our fun activities are suitable from birth with the exercises progressing as your baby grows.
Toddlers 9-18 months
For your older more active baby who is now fascinated with the world around them we introduce additional learning themes and practice new skills. Activities promote language and social skills and body awareness.
Juniors 18 months – 3 years+
Our special fun Junior programme is perfect for older toddlers who are even more active. We love encouraging their confidence in their physical and social skills and in supporting increased independence with fun and stimulating games. They don’t even realise how much they are learning at the same time.

About us
I’m Vanessa and I joined the Baby College family in 2015, running classes in Wokingham, Reading, Finchampstead, Lower Earley and Woodley.
I have a degree in English Literature and Language, and previously worked in Marketing and Public Relations. I’ve been a stay at home mum, Pre-school committee member, Primary School parent helper, Beaver Scout leader and School Governor. I cherish working with children and supporting them in their development and growth.
I attended Baby College with both my children and simply loved the classes. I realised that Baby College offers something different to other classes; a fun mix of activities for children 0-3 years and the chance for parents to bond with their child and gain an invaluable insight into baby and child development, thereby helping give their child the best start in life.
Running Baby College classes is a joy and my passion; I’m fuelled by baby smiles and giggles. I’d love to meet you and your little one so please contact me for more class details or to arrange a trial.

I started at Baby College with Vanessa in January 2022 when my son was 3 months old. For the past 18 months, we have loved coming each week, singing songs, learning new skills and meeting new friends! My son has grown in confidence so much and loves taking part in the varied activities, his favourite being music play and the parachute! We will definitely miss attending Baby College, and Vanessa, but I hope to return in the future after the arrival of our new baby!

I joined Baby College not long after having my baby during lockdown. I wanted to get out and see people so my first few classes were in masks/at a distance! It didn’t stop my enjoyment of superb classes run by Vanessa who is so kind and understanding and the children adore her. She offers advice for those new mums with any concerns and probably deserves some sort of medal for the levels of patience she has to demonstrate! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend classes to anyone else.

As a nanny who has been attending Baby College classes with Vanessa for almost two years I can positively say this is the BEST baby/toddler class I have ever signed up to! Vanessa is brilliant with all of the children. She really plans each class to meet age group and individual needs. I have seen the little one I look after grow in confidence and ability since attending weekly sessions, he was quite shy and reserved and preferred to observe the class for the first few months and now the enthusiasm and connection he has with each class astounds me!! I would HIGHLY recommend this class as it is so worth watching the little ones grow and develop and also provides great advice, support and a range of ideas and activities you can engage with your little ones at home!
